ABOUT
After a twenty-five year career as an actress in theater and television, Sarah now focuses on producing new works, performing cabaret, and promoting arts education and mental health causes.
Over the course of eight and half years, Sarah helped restore and reimagine the Bedford Playhouse a vibrant hub for culture, connection and conversation in Bedford, NY. With a beautifully restored main theater, two smaller screening rooms, a cafe and bar, The Playhouse regularly host authors, directors, live music, panel discussions, comedy and trivia nights, wine tastings, and hundreds of other events throughout the year. Sarah stepped down as Founding Chairman in 2023, but remains an active member of the Board of Trustees.
Sarah also serves on the board of The JED Foundation, and sits on the Executive Committee of New 42, where she co-founded the New Vic Theater Council and served as Vice-Chairman of the Board for over eight years.
Sarah received her BA from Yale College and her MFA in acting from the Yale School of Drama, where she is a founding member of the Board of Advisors.
